IGES/SSS is a wholesale, order writing only show open to wholesale buyers. This is the 15th Anniversary for the show and organizers expect more than 10,000 buyers to attend.
Vendors from across the U.S. and Canada will set up over 1,200 booths at the convention facilities with an array of their product samples on display for wholesale buyers from cruise lines, airport/hotel gift shops, zoos and aquariums, state and national parks as well as boutiques and general gift stores.
Some Tennessee vendors did not have so far to travel. Smoky Mountain Pottery of Gatlinburg, fudge maker Country Fresh Food and Confections of Oliver Springs, and Free Reign Farm of Elizabethton, maker of goat milk soaps and lotions, will promote their handcrafted products at the show.
This year’s event will especially focus on handcrafted and Made-in-America products with a special section dedicated to these exhibitor groups and red, white and blue ribbons to attract buyers attention to these products.
“Due to the overwhelming demand from buyers for Handcrafted and Made-in-America products in recent years, IGES will be showcasing a special section at the Sevierville Convention Center focused on these exhibitor groups,” show organizers said. “Additionally, ALL Handcrafted and Made-in-America exhibitors will have signage displayed at both the LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge and the Sevierville Convention Center, making them easy for buyers to locate.”
IGES will also be hosting national buying groups during the event this week, including ZAG (Zoo and Aquarium Gift Buyers), the NCA (National Caves Association), Museum Buyers, Campground Buyers, Water Park Buyers and Amusement Park Buyers.
