Pigeon Forge Businesses Offer Discounts for Military, Police and Firefighters in August

Businesses participating in the annual Pigeon Forge Celebrate Freedom event are honoring the sacrifices made by America’s heroes all month long in August by offering discounts for military personnel, veterans, police officers, firefighters and other emergency responders.

Celebrate Freedom runs August 1-31, 2015. The Pigeon Forge Department of Tourism organized the month-long program. Both locals and visitors to the area are eligible for the discounts, and Celebrate Freedom makes August an especially great time for military personnel, veterans, police officers, firefighters and other emergency responders to plan their Pigeon Forge vacation!

Pigeon Forge hotels, motels, cabin rental companies and campgrounds are offering special rates. Discounts are also available for restaurants, attractions and theaters. If you are looking for that perfect tattoo or hat, there are even discounts for those and other area shopping too. Several businesses in The Island at Pigeon Forge are participating in the Celebrate Freedom event for 2015.
