A groundbreaking ceremony was held Monday in Sevierville for the Sevier Air Trampoline Park, a new indoor family adventure park.
When completed later this year, the two story 50,000 sq. ft. building will anchor one end of the Governor’s Crossing Shopping Center and house more than 34,000 sq. ft. of state of the art trampolines, three professional grade dodgeball courts and ninja courses inspired by the sports competition television series American Ninja Warrior. Retail shops will occupy the remaining space.
“The opportunity to bring this type of park into the area as a ‘greenfield’ project with a building designed especially for entertainment, promises to provide a place for hours of fun, at an economical price that will be very hard to match,” said Sevier Air partner, Chris Adkins. “We’ve found the City of Sevierville, Chamber of Commerce, and Sevier County to be great to work with.”
Sevier Air Trampoline Park is set to open in November 2015 will be available to host birthday parties, corporate team building events and church or school functions.
According to Adkins, he expects the attraction to employ about 30 year round employees and an additional 75 seasonal positions.
