The automobile parts manufacturer OTICS USA, Inc. is looking to fill more than 100 positions at its new Sevier County facility.
OTICS USA manufactures engine components for Toyota and currently has a manufacturing facility in Morristown, Tenn. The company announced in November 2014 that it was expanding operations and building a new plant in Kodak, Tenn. to increase production capacity and meet future demand from their customers, buying a 29-acre parcel in the Sevier County Interstate 40 Industrial Park.
“OTICS USA recognizes the importance of the U.S. automotive market, and that is why we are very excited about expanding our operations in Sevier County,” OTICS USA Executive Vice President Yuki Odai said. “This region offers us a great location for supplying our customers and for supplying us with quality employees from the surrounding communities. We know that working together with Sevier County will enable us to successfully grow our business in North America.”
The OTICS USA job fair will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2015 from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Smokies Stadium, 3540 Line Drive in Sevierville, Tenn.
Open positions at the OTICS USA facility include:
- Manufacturing Team Members
- Production Control – Team Member
- Maintenance – Team Member
The OTICS USA website lists starting pay for these types of positions between $12-$18 an hour. Prospective candidates will be able to meet and interview with members of OTICS USA management team and learn about the company.
