On Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015, the Gatlinburg Farmers Market will host its last outdoor market of the 2015 season while celebrating a wonderful year at the market.
Even though produce is dwindling as fall arrives, there are still locally grown and locally handcrafted items at the market, such as baked-goods, honey, meats, eggs, preserves, soaps, jewelry and art work. The tenth will be a great time to connect with your favorite vendors and friends at the market one last time this year while enjoying the fall colors and music at the Covered Bridge.
“It has been a wonderful season. The market has seen growth in many ways, while still maintaining the wonderful sense of community that is unique to the Gatlinburg Farmers Market. We so appreciate all of the local and visiting patrons that come week after week, year after year, and are deeply grateful to everyone in our community who contributed to the market,” said Market Manager Stacey Adam.
The Gatlinburg Farmers Market is located in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains Arts and Crafts Community at the Covered Bridge, 849 Glades Road in Gatlinburg, Tenn. While celebrating the success of the 2015 season, the Gatlinburg Farmers Market is also looking forward to another great year in 2016.
