Sevierville’s Flag Football League to Play in SCHS Stadium

Starting in late November, the new Flag Football League in Sevierville will play their games at the recently renovated Burchfield Stadium at Sevier County High School.

The 7-on-7 league will be co-ed and for adults 18 and over. Fees for the league are $425 per team. Games will be played on Tuesday nights beginning in late November 2015. A captain’s organizational meeting will be held November 12, 2015 at 6 p.m. in the Sevierville Civic Center.

“This is the first time we have had the opportunity to play recreational league games on the High School football field,” said Patrick Oxley, Sevierville Parks and Recreation Athletics Coordinator. “We’re very excited to be able to play on a state of the art field.”

Flag Football League registration packets can be picked up at the front desk in the Sevierville Community Center or on our website at www.seviervilleparksandrec.com on the Athletics page. Teams can begin paying fees as early as October 13, 2015. Deadline for registration is November 13, 2015.
