Have you dreamt of starting a business, but don’t know where to begin to make your idea a reality?
The Sevierville Commons Association and Knoxville Entrepreneur Center are partnering to present a Co.Starters event on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016 in downtown Sevierville.
This free one-day workshop is designed for individuals who have always wanted to start a business, but just need a bit of help or resources to push their dream along.
“The Sevierville Commons Association noticed several months ago that there are many citizens in Sevier County who have a great idea, but don’t know how to move forward on those aspirations,” said event organizers.
Often times, trying to deal with putting together a business plan, marketing plan, understand accounting and legal aspects of a business, can be overwhelming. Knowing that was an issue for several entrepreneurs, the organization decided to team up with Knoxville Entrepreneur Center to help solve that issue. The Co-Starters event will help attendees move from an idea to reality by covering many aspects of starting a business and connect them with people and resources that may be able to offer additional assistance.
“The Sevierville Commons Association hopes to see new businesses grow from this event in downtown Sevierville, but are welcoming business owners from all parts of Sevier County,” said organizers. “If we can help a few people get their dream off the ground that helps to strengthen our community. For that, we will be thrilled.”
The Co.Starters event will be held on the second floor of CNB Plaza, 130 W. Bruce Street in Sevierville, Tenn.
