Pigeon Forge Mayor David Wear and City Manager Earlene Teaster will present the State of the City Address on Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016. The meeting will also serve as the official kick-off for the 16th Annual Saddle Up event in Pigeon Forge that runs from Feb. 17–21, 2016.
Wear & Teaster will speak at the monthly luncheon of the Pigeon Forge Hospitality Association about the overall business tax generation for the 2015 year as well as ongoing and new projects for Pigeon Forge. The meeting is open to all businesses, individuals and the public at large. You do not need to be a member of the Pigeon Forge Hospitality Association to attend this luncheon / meeting.
“The presentation by our mayor and city manager should be continued good news for all of Pigeon Forge as 2015 finished above 2014 which was a record year,” said Karl Thomas, president of the Pigeon Forge Hospitality Association. “We are especially interested to hear updates on The Ripken Experience Project (which opens early March) and the Department of Tourism 2016 Spring/Summer Advertising Campaign.

The State of the City Address will take place at LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge, 2986 Teaster Lane in Pigeon Forge, Tenn.
