Construction Continues in Preparation for Lumberjack Adventure Opening

While we cannot see the changes going on inside Dolly Parton’s Lumberjack Adventure Dinner & Show, progress outside is dramatic with the demolition of the old Regency Inn in front of the attraction.

Construction crews removed the Regency Inn in Pigeon Forge this week to increase visibility from the Parkway and expand parking for Lumberjack Adventure.

Dolly Parton announced the acquisition of the Lumberjack Feud Dinner Show last year and in January, said it would be rebranded as Dolly Parton’s Lumberjack Adventure Dinner & Show, featuring an entirely new show and menu.

“I’m truly excited to be working on a new show for families to enjoy while they are in town,” Parton said. “We did a lot of work to come up with the name of the new show and I think we found the perfect fit. My creative team has been working to produce an exciting show, which will showcase the amazing competitive skills of our cast. We have a few surprises that will certainly make this an ‘adventure’ for every member of the family.”

“The hotel removal allows us to show off the changes we are making to the facility and will provide room for ample parking for what we know will be a spectacular new show in the Smoky Mountains,” said Jim Rule, president of World Choice Investments, LLC.

The Lumberjack Adventure opening is scheduled for sometime in May. It is located at 2713 Parkway in Pigeon Forge, Tenn.
