Dollywood’s Splash Country is partnering with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Knoxville to raise money for families with critically-ill children being treated in area hospitals. The first 600 guests who mention Ronald McDonald House at Dollywood’s Splash Country before noon on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2016 will receive 50% off a regular or child admission ticket.
100% of the monies raised during this special event benefit Ronald McDonald House of Knoxville as it serves as a home away from home for families during their time of need.
“We love to support our community and the Ronald McDonald House is a great fit for us because they do great work to encourage children and families who are going through a tough time,” Dollywood’s Splash Country General Manager Mike Brown explained. “We enjoy standing with the Ronald McDonald House and their mission. This is something we look forward to every year.”
Sue Beverly, Director of the House added, “We are honored to be ‘adopted’ by the caring folks at Splash Country whose invaluable support touches so many lives.”
Dollywood’s Splash Country has been a proud supporter of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Knoxville since 2003. The water park has donated more than $309,000 to the non-profit in that time.
This season, Dollywood’s Splash Country extended its operating calendar and is open daily through Sunday, Aug. 21 and on weekends through Labor Day, Sept. 5, 2016.
