Sevier County Early Voting Information and Sample Ballot for Nov. 8, 2016 Election

Election officials have announced the following 2016 election information for voters in Sevier County. The Sevier County Election Commission will open and hold the State of Tennessee General Election & Town of Pittman Center Municipal Election in Sevier County on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016.

All registered voters have the option to vote early, between Oct. 19 –Nov. 3 at the Election Commission Office or Seymour Public Library.

Persons who are 60 years of age or older and voters who are handicapped or disabled and whose polling place is not accessible may choose to vote during Early Voting, to vote by absentee ballot or to vote at the Election Commission office on Election Day. If the voter chooses to vote at the Election Commission office on Election Day, they must complete an affidavit at the Election Commission office at least ten (10) days prior to each election. The Election Commission office is located at 1145 Dolly Parton Parkway in Sevierville. The office hours are 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. on Monday through Thursday, and 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Friday. For Tennessee residents, the deadline to register to vote in the Nov. 8, 2016 has passed.
