The Original Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant is holding its 30th Anniversary Celebration on Friday. It will be a daylong event with special surprises planned for breakfast, lunch and dinner, including a special guest appearance by country music singer-songwriter Pam Tillis. As Sevierville’s oldest restaurant, The Original Applewood Farmhouse is excited to present a day of entertainment and fun to give back to its wonderful customers who have contributed to the restaurants’ tremendous success over the past 30 years.
In 1986, Stokely Hospitality opened the doors of its very first restaurant, The Original Applewood Farmhouse, serving down-home southern cuisine. The Farmhouse quickly became a local and tourist favorite, and soon Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant expanded with the addition on the Applewood Farmhouse Grill to help fulfill guest demands. Today, The Original Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant and Grill serves over 28,000 people per week.
“My family could never have imagined 30 years ago that The Original Applewood Farmhouse would grow to serve over a million people each year,” said William B. Stokely IV, president of Stokely Hospitality Enterprises. “We are super excited to announce our plans for Friday, September 1st, as our celebration culminates in a daylong event taking place at our restaurants located at 240 Apple Valley Road in Sevierville.”
