An open house and ribbon cutting for Cherokee Orchard in Gatlinburg will usher in Wyndham Vacation Rental’s expansion of their Big Cabins’ offerings in the Smoky Mountains. Phase One of the project is complete and features massive eight to sixteen bedroom cabins.
Wyndham partnered with builder Kenny Hayes’ Southern Scapes Home Design to keep up with the latest trend in the way families, churches and corporations are spending their retreats and vacations where groups stay under one roof to create more bonding and team building time for their members.
Until recently, there was not an area where these could be built this close to town. Now, walking distance to the Gatlinburg Parkway, you will find a massive 16 bedroom cabin capable of sleeping 82 people, along with two 13 bedroom cabins, an eight bedroom cabin and an indoor pool for them to share. That is only Phase One.
Phase Two will add a huge 20 bedroom cabin along with two more 13 bedroom cabins and a 10 bedroom cabin. This will allow flexibility for larger groups needing more space.
When completed, Cherokee Orchard in Gatlinburg will have:
- 8 Log Cabins and a Pool House
- 12 Acres of living space (53,700.00 sf)
- 106 Bedrooms
- Ability to sleep up to 508 people
