The very talented and popular chef, Adam Palmeno, and business partner/co-owner Robbin Caudill are combining forces to open up a new, unique restaurant called Barley Station in Sevierville.
The Sevierville Chamber of Commerce will cut the ribbon in a ceremony at 11:30 a.m. and a Grand Opening celebration will be held 5-7 p.m. on Friday, August 31, 2018. The evening event is open to the public and will be a benefit for the family of Michael A. Rowe, with a portion of the proceeds from the sale of meals and donations going to a Memorial Foundation in Michael’s name. The Grand Opening will also feature bouncy houses for children, a silent auction, and live entertainment. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase 5-11 p.m.
Palmeno has lived in the region for 10 years and has 20 years professional cooking experience in multiple cuisines. He has also managed a successful catering business in the region for the past few years.
“Robbin and I wanted to own and manage a restaurant where locals and tourists will have a very unique and satisfying eating experience,” Palmeno said. “We are planning on providing a fusion BBQ restaurant that specializes in smoked foods that are farm to table. Vegetables and meats will be primarily sourced and supplied by local growers and farmers. We are convinced that this direction will be very popular with our customers.”
Caudill is a 17 year resident of Sevier County and has 30 years of experience in sales and management. She attended Ohio State University and majored in business management.
“Adam and I are thrilled to be able to combine our cooking and business talents in creating Barley Station right here in Sevierville. We know that everyone will have a wonderful experience and we look forward in getting started! We plan on having a BBQ restaurant that is unique in many ways. There will be an ever-changing menu that will give our customers something new to look forward to each time they return,” said Caudill.
Barley Station is located at 140 S. Kilby Street in Sevierville, Tenn. (Behind the Walgreens at Forks of the River Parkway).
