The Incredible Christmas Place will kick off the holiday season with a special lighting celebration of the 24-foot-tall Salvation Army Angel Tree, one of the tallest Angel Trees in America. This year, the Angel Tree aims to deliver Christmas to over 300 children in Sevier County.
On Saturday, November 2, 2019 between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m., visitors to the Incredible Christmas Place Celebration and Tree Lighting will enjoy Christmas carolers, free hot chocolate, door prizes and more. Santa Claus will be on hand with his friends Elf on the Shelf, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, the Gingerbread Man and Frosty the Snowman for photo opportunities. The event will conclude with the lighting of the Salvation Army Angel Tree at 7 p.m.
For almost 40 years, the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program has provided an opportunity for community members to personally provide vital items to specific children in need to ensure that they have a wonderful holiday season with their families. Last year’s Angel Tree at The Christmas Place provided Christmas for more than 200 children in Sevier County. The greatest gift you can receive is the joy of helping a child in need.
The Celebration is free and open to the public in the courtyard of the Incredible Christmas Place, located at 2470 Parkway in Pigeon Forge. www.christmasplace.com
