Pigeon Forge Car Shows Rescheduled Due to Coronavirus Pandemic

Organizers of three Pigeon Forge car shows rescheduled the events due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The 2020 Corvette Expo, Horsepower & Hot Rods, and Chevelles in the Smokies Showdown were originally scheduled for next weekend at LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge and have been rescheduled to May 29-30 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Pigeon Forge Spring Rod Run has also been rescheduled.

While Ponies in the Smokies originally vowed to move ahead with their event at the Sevierville Convention Center scheduled for March 25-28, they later released the following statement, “With the current Global COVID-19 Pandemic, the recent Executive Orders and CDC warnings over the weekend it should come as no surprise that in the interest of public safety city officials are requiring next week’s scheduled Ponies in the Smokies to be postponed until July 29th – August 1st, 2020.”
