Identities Released in Murder Suicide at Pigeon Forge Cabin

Authorities released the names of two people reportedly involved in a murder suicide incident at a rental cabin in Pigeon Forge last week.

The Pigeon Forge Police Department says they received a report of shots fired on Conner Drive at about 11:40 p.m. on September 4, 2019 and when officers responded, they found a man dead of a gunshot wound in the driveway of 4239 Conner Drive. Officers gained entry to the rental cabin and located the body of a woman inside.

The investigation found that 64-year-old Randall Herman Hawkins was shot and killed in the driveway. The woman inside the cabin, identified as Debbie Finchum Hunter, 52, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Police say both were from the Knoxville area and had been in a relationship.
