Sevier County Mayor Larry Waters has called a Special Session of the Sevier County Commission at 6 p.m. on Monday, June 29, 2015 in room 306w of the Sevier County Courthouse, 125 Court Ave. in historic downtown Sevierville, Tenn.
A number of items are on the Sevier County Commission agenda, including:
- Consideration of a resolution determining the certified tax rate and fixing the tax levy in Sevier County, TN for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2015
- Consideration of a resolution making appropriations for the various funds, departments, institutions, offices and agencies of Sevier County, TN for fiscal year beginning July 1, 2015
- Consideration of the “budget documents” for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2015 and ending June 30, 2016
- Consideration of a resolution making appropriations to various non-profit organizations which benefit Sevier County, TN, and its citizens for the year beginning July 1, 2015 and ending June 30, 2016
- Consideration of a resolution approving the sale and/or disposal of vehicles and equipment for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2015
- Consideration of a resolution approving a marketing firm for the county and a scope of work
- Consideration of lease agreements
- Consideration of a resolution amending the General Fund 101 budget to more accurately reflect revenues and expenditures
- Consideration of a resolution amending the Law Library Fund 114 budget to more accurately reflect revenues and expenditures
- Consideration of a resolution amending the Solid Waste/Sanitation Fund 116 budget to more accurately reflect revenues and expenditures
- Consideration of a resolution amending the Special Purpose Fund 121 budget to more accurately reflect revenues and expenditures
- Consideration of a resolution amending the Drug Fund 122 budget to more accurately reflect revenues and expenditures
- Consideration of a resolution amending the Other Special Revenue – Drug Court Fund 128 budget to more accurately reflect revenues and expenditures
- Consideration of a resolution amending School Fund budgets 141-General Purpose, 142-Federal Projects and 143-Central Cafeteria to more accurately reflect revenues and expenditures
- Consideration of a resolution amending the Public Utility Fund 204 budget to more accurately reflect revenues and expenditures
- Consideration of a resolution to designate usage of the former Mountain National Bank operations center
- Consideration of a resolution to update the Sevier County employee handbook
- Consideration of a resolution to amend the Sevier County employee longevity plan
- Consideration of a resolution to set speed limits on certain Sevier County roads
