Workshop Teaches Businesses to Spot Suspicious Activity and Survive Active Shooter

The Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security will conduct a security workshop for businesses on Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015 at the Music Road Hotel from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Regional Advisor in Charge, Dwayne C. Collins will cover topics:

  • What is Suspicious Activity: What to do? What is Terrorism?
  • Sudden Violence: Surviving an Active Shooter(s)

“We feel it is important to provide our members and the business community with learning opportunities relevant to the operation and success of their businesses,” says Betsy Burgin, executive coordinator for the Pigeon Forge Hospitality Association.

Sponsored by the Pigeon Forge Hospitality Association, this informative workshop is free for all PFHA Members. Area hospitality and lodging association member businesses may attend for $5 per person. Beverages will be provided. Registration is required at www.pfha-nov10.eventbrite.com.
