Pigeon Forge Hospitality Association Golf Tournament to Fund Scholarships

A golf tournament coming up promises players a fun day and plenty of chances to win great prizes, but the real winners will be recipients of scholarships funded by the event.

The 19th Annual Pigeon Forge Hospitality Association / S & D Coffee & Tea Benefit Golf Tournament will be held Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2016 at the Sevierville Golf Club. The golf tournament provides players of all skill levels an outstanding golf experience and the opportunity to support education and advocacy programs in our community.

This day of golf, in a scramble format, includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a shotgun start at 7 a.m. and an afternoon flight at 1 p.m. Golfers receive an insulated goody bag with snacks, treats, mulligans, drink tickets, team photo, and premium golf gift.

The fun includes six prize opportunities and contests including the USDM Million Dollar Shootout for the top five qualifiers, a putting contest–Cash Prize sponsored by Miles Media, and Closest to the Pin, plus several prize holes sponsored by Barnes Insurance. Excitement is in the air when the Blalock Companies Helicopter arrives for the “Golf Ball Drop” (onto the course) $500 cash prize sponsored by The Greater Pigeon Forge Chamber of Commerce.
