Local governments and the Sevier County Economic Development Council are hosting the Sevier County Job Fair on Tuesday to help match job seekers and local businesses with open positions.
The 20th annual Sevier County Job Fair will be held Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at the Holiday Inn Convention Center located at 3230 Parkway in Pigeon Forge (Just past traffic light #6). The event has grown every year, offering many job opportunities for the people of Sevier County while allowing businesses to fill their staffing needs. The doors will open at 10 a.m. and businesses will be available to talk with job seekers until 4 p.m. Company representatives will be able to interview job seekers on site.
Job seekers are encouraged to bring copies of their resume. They can visit the website seviercountyjobs.org, fill out an application, print it and bring it along. Some helpful hints for job seekers – remember first impressions are lasting impressions. Dress for success. Many job seekers that attended the job fair last year were hired on the spot.

Sevier County businesses and job seekers are encouraged to visit the jobs website seviercountyjobs.org and register, allowing businesses to post job openings at any time and job seekers can apply for jobs on the site.
A Career Coach sponsored by the Tennessee Department of Workforce Development will be available on-site all day. The Coach has a mobile computer lab with internet access as well as workshops for resume writing and interviewing skills. If you need help with your resume, we encourage you to plan to visit the Career Coach while attending the job fair.
